Unfit to rule

I will admit that I have never been a fan of the above pictured jug-eared, tree-hugging twit. I never liked Diana either, but the way this bastard treated her was way out of order and clearly turning her over in favour of a woman closely resembling the back end of a horse just proves he has no taste and bad eyesight!

Anyway, having said all that there have been a couple of things lately which convince me that King Charles III would be as big a disaster as the first two Kings of the same name. Whatever was Liz thinking of when she named him Charles?..

Firstly, there were the revelations that in order to set an example to his future subjects in this time of national financial crisis he increased his 'professional' expenditure by some 18% last year. Well. I wouldn't mind that as a pay rise, would you? And to make things worse, the staff at the Duchy of Cornwall are on a pay freeeze.

And just to rub salt in the wound, who has given him this extra money? Joe Muggins - the British taxpayer!

Secondly, there was the revelation that he doesn't know his place. Blair apparently resented his continual politcal interference and now we find out that he has been calling ministers in so that he can lobby them to support his views on architecture, ecology, global warming, aid and God knows what else.

This country is a constitutional monarchy. This means that the head of state does not interfere in politics. That is left to the elected representatives of the people.

Basically, Charlie, that means follow the example set by your mother and keep your nose out of it!

The best hope for the UK is that his mother will live as long as her mother and that he will have well and truly popped his clogs before he can ascend to the throne. I can't help feeling that King William V will do a far better job...

A Royal Wedding

Ah, doesn't it just make you feel good all over? Aren't you proud to be British? It's a national holiday and a day of celebration - well, unless your employer is not going to pay you for today! Bah! Humbug!

Anyway, hands up everyone who thinks that these two will be enjoying mutual carnal knowledge for the first time tonight? It is, after all their wedding night...

You could, of course, say 'like father like son' in this respect, except that in Wills' case he's been sleeping with the woman he intends to marry, whereas dear old dad was porking Camilla whilst he was engaged to and after he married Diana.

But we should not apply our modern standards to what is a long standing British tradition. In Victorian times - an indeed before then - they took the vow of 'procreation of children' very seriously. It was common in the old days to try out the prospective wife before marrying her with the full knowledge and permission of the parents. For hundreds of years, it was common for the wife to walk down the aisle whilst carrying the first child. Men did not want to marry a barren woman.

So in Wills' case, there is a precedent and, in any case, it is now acceptable for unmarried people to live together according to modern custom. There is only the Royal tradition of keeping a mistress that could possibly justify Charles' adulterous behaviour.

So if we are looking for a moral compass, let's hope that the next head of the Anglican Church will be William V, not Charles III !

Anyone for a Garden Party?

Sorry, but I just couldn't help noticing the annual bollocksfest that is being propagated yet again over Nick Griffin's invitation to the Buck House Garden Party...

As if the fuss last year wasn't enough, here we go again - so at the risk of being a crashing bore, let's actually look at the facts :

Fact 1 : Nick Griffin is a ultra right wing fascist bastard and, frankly, if he was lying in the gutter on fire then I wouldn't cross the road to piss on him.

Fact 2 : He was elected to the European Parliament and is a sitting MEP so I have to conclude that there are some more ultra right wing fascist bastards out there who actually voted for him. Like it or not, it's called democracy.

Fact 3 : All British sitting MEPs are automatically invited to this annual shindig so the invitation was purely a matter of protocol.

Fact 4 : This is an emotive issue and people talk bollocks about it.

An example of fact 4 is demonstrated by the remarks of Labour MP Margaret Hodge who said, and I quote, "It sickens me that Nick Griffin has used his position as an elected representative to secure an invitation to Buckingham Palace"

Now listen, Margaret dear, read facts 2 and 3 above and stop talking out of your arse. It comes with the job and whilst you might think only a brain dead moron would vote BNP, I feel pretty much the same way about your party.

Claude Moraes, a Labour MEP for London, said that the move “deeply politicises and embarrasses the Queen...I would expect some people to boycott the party. If people knew about this it would clearly spoil the occasion for a lot of them."

No it doesn't, Claude. You are the one causing the embarassment - and, frankly, anyone who boycotts the party is as bloudy daft as you are and doesn't deserve to be there!

As a spokesman so eloquently put it "Mr Griffin had been sent an invitation as the MEP was eligible and the Palace would not discriminate against democratically elected representatives." Quite right. Madge is above politics.

Apparently, according to the Mail "The BNP’s media spokesman refused to comment" - and that's about the most sensible thing I've heard about this whole affair so far!

After all, we elected the bastard - so it's our fault.
